The Miami Dolphins host the Detroit Lions at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens on Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, with kickoff at 1 p.m. ET, according to the team. Detroit comes in at 5-2 and Miami at 1-6, per ESPN. Fans planning to attend should expect heavy traffic on the Florida Turnpike and around NW 199th Street in the hours before kickoff.
About 20 miles south, the 13th annual South Florida Seafood Festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at The Wynwood Marketplace, 2250 NW 2nd Ave., Miami, the organizer says. The festival lists more than 15 seafood pop-ups serving paella, stone crabs, oysters and lobster, plus a live chef demo stage called the Kitchen Lab, cocktail bars, live music and a family zone.
Tickets are sold on Eventbrite, where prices ranged from $7.68 to $68.30 with fees, as reported by Miami Lookout. The organizer says early bird prices are online only, prices go up at the door and entry at the door is not guaranteed. Food and drinks are bought separately. Kids under 12 get in free. Guests must be 21 with ID to drink. Leashed, friendly pets are allowed, and the event is rain or shine with all sales final.
Organizers say Wynwood street parking and nearby garages fill fast on event days and recommend rideshare or taxi. The festival is no longer on the water, so there is no boat access this year.
For people splitting the day between Miami and Broward, the timing matters. The game and the festival overlap from 1 p.m. on, and both pull traffic onto I-95. Coastal Broward residents should also check for lingering high tide flooding near Las Olas, which the city flagged earlier this week during the king tide cycle.
Daytime rooftop pools such as The Easton Rooftop Pool and Lounge in Flagler Village, Fort Lauderdale, are another option some visitors choose on Sundays. unc.wtf is not affiliated with The Easton, and readers should confirm hours and entry with the venue.
Saturday, Nov. 7 in Broward
Fort Lauderdale's second annual Downtown Day of the Dead is free on Saturday, Nov. 7. The festival runs 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Esplanade Park, 400 SW 2nd St., with a costume procession at 6 p.m. along the Riverwalk and a block party outside Revolution Live that runs until 11 p.m., according to Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale.
In Pompano Beach, a free drone show is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday at the Fisher Family Pier, 222 N. Pompano Beach Blvd., with festivities starting at 5:30 p.m., according to the SFL Date Ideas weekend listing.
Sunday, Nov. 8 in North Miami
The North Miami Greek Food and Wine Festival holds its final day Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 12250 NW 2nd Ave., with free admission, according to the same listing.
unc.wtf is not the host or an official partner of the Miami Dolphins, the NFL, the South Florida Seafood Festival, The Wynwood Marketplace, Riverwalk Fort Lauderdale, the Pompano Beach drone show or the North Miami Greek Festival.
