The party line relaunch is live: a free web chat room, Discord voice rooms, and a call in live stream chat on Twitch. Pick a nickname, no real name needed, and pull up Monday, Thursday, or Sunday at 7 PM ET.

If you grew up in the 90s or early 2000s, you remember it. Friday night, home phone, cord stretched down the hallway as far as it would go. You dialed in and the whole city was on one line. People talking trash, swapping stories, finding out where everybody was headed before the night even started.
That 90s party line energy is what I’m bringing back. Same feeling, different tools. No home phone, no per-minute bill. Just the apps you already have open.
🧌 The first version went viral. Then the trolls showed up.
I ran an earlier version of this and it blew up. The crowd came fast, and the trolls came right behind them. When the loudest people in a room are the ones trying to ruin it, everybody else leaves.
So I rebuilt it with real moderation. A word filter blocks slurs and the nasty stuff before it ever posts. Past that, it’s me and the mods watching the room and making the calls. Nothing fancy. Just a room that stays fun because somebody is actually paying attention.
💬 How the room works now
- Guest chat in your browser. Pick a nickname and type. No signup, no real name needed. Links show as plain text so spammers get nothing out of it.
- Discord voice. There’s a waiting-room voice channel so you can test your mic without being live, plus voice-only rooms, video rooms, group chat, and private channels. The Discord stays open 24/7.
- Twitch call-in show. Monday, Thursday, and Sunday at 7 PM ET on twitch.tv/unctaylor. When lines open, I pull callers from the waiting room up to the stage.
- The chat shows on stream. Whatever you type in the room can end up on screen during the show, so keep it something you’d say on air.
Vibe with somebody? Invite them to the Discord. They pick a username close to the one they used in the room, you search it, and you two take it to a private channel.

The best moments so far? Embarrassing stories and dating stories. Nobody posts those on a highlight reel, which is exactly why they hit in here.

Let people finish talking. No harassment. No screenshots, recordings, or clip farming the room. Break that and you climb the ladder:
